Live Show In Chiba

Beer and tea outside of the venue. For lunch Kaz had Katsudon and I had Udon and soft serve maccha ice cream. You can kind of see my cleavage in this picture but somehow I think it kind of looks like I'm a boy with a really muscular chest...

The guy who worked a the venue bought a handmade PWRFL Power T-shirt

While I was making this guy I didn't know what he was going to be so he turned into a sort of a Rabbit/Pig guy. He wasn't too popular and didn't sell until the last day of the tour. I loved him, though...

Tokyo Summer Date: Movie, Live Show, and Fireworks

We had a day off and some people Kaz knew invited us to a gallery where we watched a couple of documentaries and then a live show.

Cranky smoker

I wish we had this car to tour in

Kaz

We spent a lot of time waiting outside between movies and music. There were tons of mosquitos and my legs were covered in mosquito bites by the time we went home....

I don't know why but there where a lot of houses in the neighborhood with huge light bulbs on their roofs...

Watching fireworks from the train station

The train was completely empty on our way home. It's so rare to get the train to yourself in Tokyo!

Day Of HMV Live Show In Shibuya

Tanshi san and Yu chan waiting for the train in Shibuya. The HMV show was fun, but my new songs sounded a little odd. Turns out the guitar I used this tour goes out of tune really quickly!

Gento san and Aizawa kun after the show. I was really happy that Aizawa kun came because he always makes live shows more fun. He was the only one who howled with me when I played Mad Dog and he helped me check my mic during sound check just so he could yell into the ears of everyone in HMV. Check out his band Hizumi if you can find it online!

We had to walk half of the way home because the train that takes us close to Yu's stopped running earlier that night. It usually would be an hour walk, but it took longer because we were carrying so much stuff. After that we were a lot more stressed out about not missing the last train...

First Day Of The August Japan Tour 2010

We stayed with our friend Yu for the first week when we where playing shows in Tokyo. Yu is learning english to prepare for her trip to Seattle this October, so me and her talked in english half the time. She's really good, and I think she will have no trouble communicating when she's in the states. Also Yu is gorgeous and probably everyone in Seattle is going to fall in love with her... :)

Yu chan has fake glasses and they make me match Kazumo!

It was burning hot in Tokyo and so humid I felt like I was in Hilo. Luckily Yu chan has AC in her room so we were able to sleep comfortably despite the heat.

Almost every morning Yu chan made us french toast and Kaz made coffee with the beans he's been roasting in Asahikawa. Yu and Momo also cooked for us a lot in the evenings after they got home from work. It made me feel embarrassed that I'm usually to lazy to cook after a work day... Once I'm back in Seattle I'll work hard to become a better cook. All I can really cook right now is soup, fish tacos, and pancakes!

Boating With Kazumo

We had the idea the day before at the park with Tamiko. She took us to a museum and then to lunch, while walking through the park on our way back from the museum I saw the boats and told Kaz I wanted to go out on the lake with him.

Using my best movie star eyes to seduce Kaz into finally taking me on a date...

Bench photos with Japanese graffiti and my weird hand

Kaz said that his mom used to take him to get this ice cream when he was a kid and the taste is very nostalgic.

We took the boat under this pretty bridge and found ourselves surrounded by trash and huge bugs! Kaz went into a panic trying to get us out.

"Bugs...."

We finally found our way out of the gross part of the lake. There was a lot of Koi fish and a huge dragonfly landed on my arm and stared at me with it's huge green and blue eyes. I wish I'd thought to take a photo of it.

Enjoying the lake...

Kaz was getting tired so we headed back to land.

Pigeons

These cans are used as ashtrays and they're on every table and bench in the park.
